How Can We Help?

Question: Yesterday you mentioned in the class about Sakti Tattva, Visnu Tattva and Jiva Tattva. You said that Radharani and Asta Sakis are Sakti Tattvas. Are the Manjaris also Sakti Tattvas as they are potencies of Radharani? We learn that many spiritual masters like Bhakti Vinod Thakur, Bhaktisiddanta Saraswati Thakur were Manjaris. But we say that Guru is Jiva Tattva. So are great devotees who are Manjaris actually Sakti Tattva or Jiva Tattva? Can you please help in understanding this Guru Maharaj?

Jayapataka Swami:  So the word Manjari means Assistant to the Gopis. So some may be Sakti Tattvas, and most of them are Jiva Tattva. Like Ananga Manjari is a Manjari but she is considered very elevated. So I don’t really know amongst the top echelons who are the Sakti Tattva or not, but most of these Gopis are jivas that are engaged in Radharani’s service. I don’t think there is much difference. In the sense that if you are serving Radharani that is also very sacred. But the difference is that the Sakti Tattva, like Radharani She can simultaneously be present in every universe just like Krsna, but Jiva Tattva has a limitation how many places they can be. It says that the devotees of Lord Caitanya can simultaneously be in Caitanya Lila and Krsna lila.
