My dear spiritual father Śrīla Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupāda,
Please accept my respectful obeisances!

On your Vyāsa-pūjā, I would like to offer you my humble homage. You have blessed me with your association and picked me up from the pool of material conditioned life – repetition of birth and death, and given me the association of Your Divine association, and given me the holy dhāma of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, and many other countless blessings. You have given me many instructions to fulfill, for realizing your mercy on the world. You could have stayed in Vṛndāvana and got your spiritual emancipation, but you took great risk and austerity to bring this message of Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu to the Western world. And we were blind, thinking that serving our senses was the goal of life. But you showed us how serving Śrī Śrī Rādhā Mādhava, serving Śrī Caitanya Mahāprabhu, was the actual purpose of life. And that the Supreme Personality of Godhead is the only shelter. So thus you gave a real meaning to our life and we could taste real happiness for the first time.
In the last twelve years, I have had many different health issues, and I was trying to carry out your instructions. But in 2018, I was told by the doctors that unless I had a liver and kidney transplant, in the next three to five months, I would have reached a point of no return, and I would have to leave my body. So I wanted to try to fulfill a few more instructions. So last year, I got a liver and kidney transplant, which is now over six months or so gone by. So I would like to see the Rādhā Mādhava Aṣṭa Sakhīs, Māyāpur Candra, Pañca-tattva and Prahlāda Narasiṁhadeva, established in the new Temple of Vedic Planetarium. I would like to see the Vedic Planetarium develop, and as you have instructed me, to develop the Navadvīpa Maṇḍala Parikramā and Gaura Maṇḍala Bhūmi, and facilitate the unification, in some form or other, of the Sārasvata disciplic succession, to expand the outreach of Kṛṣṇa consciousness unlimitedly, and many other things that you instructed me to do. Establishing the congregational preaching and expanding in ISKCON, while seeing the mass distribution of your transcendental literature. Somehow care and guide the disciples that you have sent me, so that they can be useful in spreading your message. And the many other services you have given me. You said to stay in Māyāpur and work through my assistants, and you also said to travel, around the world. And that was the duty of all sannyāsīs. But now my travelling days are challenged a lot, but I appreciate how you have engaged me and kept me away from the clutches of the illusory energy. I have written some of your memoirs, but the more I write the more I remember. Also, I am trying to write the pastimes of Lord Caitanya – it is spread out in various books – of course, there is no limit to His pastimes, but at least to give some more extended experience of how merciful Lord Caitanya and Lord Nityānanda and Their associates are, how wonderful They are! You have given yourself to all of us, and reaching out and giving us the vāṇī of Lord Caitanya. So on this sacred day of your appearance, the day after the appearance of Lord Kṛṣṇa, that is the Nanda Mahotsava day, I beg for your mercy and I glorify you for your unlimited mercy on us all. All glories to Your Divine Grace!
Your insignificant disciple,
Jayapatākā Swami.
