Guru Maharaj: Śrīla Prabhupāda said that although in the Vedas it says pancham ūḍham padaṁ vrajet. But Śrīla Prabhupāda remarked that if the wife is cooperative, she is helping, then there is no need to take vanaprasta or sannyāsa. So whether you go back to India or stay there, it depends I guess on your economic situation. If you have enough savings and there is opportunity to do sevā more in India, you may want to do that. But if you have a lot of service in ____________, then why not stay there? As far as how to help with children when they are 16, Cāṇakya Paṇḍita said that we should discipline the children from 6 to 15. When they are 16 or over, we should treat them as friends and try to reason with them. But it is very important that children have good association. To see that they have devotee association of the same age.
