Guru Maharaj: In the 4th canto of the Srimad Bhagavatam, there is the pastime of Puranjana, that he took next birth as a queen, and her king died. So she was crying. So in the purport Srila Prabhupada said, this is how a disciple should feel when the guru passes. So I think that this is very natural emotion, that one feels separation from the spiritual master and when I heard that Srila Prabhupada had left – I saw him in the morning he was alive, and I went on the train to Kolkata, because he gave me the assignment to build his bhajan kutir on the lake. But when I reached Kolkata, I saw the newspaper, it said the founder acarya of ISKCON had left. I started crying, and flew back to Vrndavana, to Delhi then drove to Vrndavana. But by that time he was already in the samadhi.
