Question: You said that Śrīla Prabhupāda said that other authorized names of God can be chanted apart from chanting Hare Kṛṣṇa, but Caitanya Mahāprabhu said that there is no other way in the age of Kali except chanting the Hare Kṛṣṇa mantra, so Śrīla Prabhupāda was talking about which other names?

Jayapatākā Swami: Lord Caitanya Mahāprabhu said Harināma – what does Harināma mean? The name of God. I used to say this in South America, then one nun started chanting the names of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ, Christo Jesus, Jesus Jesus. Then she thought this is almost like Hare Kṛṣṇa. I will see how I like it. Hare Kṛṣṇa Hare Kṛṣṇa, Kṛṣṇa Kṛṣṇa, Hare Hare / Hare Rāma Hare Rāma, Rāma Rāma, Hare Hare! So this feels just like the name of Jesus Christ, but I am feeling more bliss or more power from chanting this. So now she is a disciple and chants Hare Kṛṣṇa. So by being universal, Śrīla Prabhupāda he brought more people to chant Hare Kṛṣṇa. Actually if people would chant the name of God that would also be very auspicious and many of them would chant Hare Kṛṣṇa. We want people to chant the name of God.
